this may help (I missed this the first time)

1.click on view

2. click on toolbars

3. click on drawing

(tool bar then should show at the bottom of the screen)

4. then click on the blue A  to choose word art

(just a idea)
When you get to toolbars does it show customize at bottom of the list?
if so click on it and see if it shows drawing then.

(not sure if microsoft 9 has limitations)

There should be 16 options plus Cutomize at the bottom.
Go all the way to the bottom of that list you should see Cutomize. If you do click on that and a box with three tabs should appear. The third tab is options, open it. Uncheck large icons and see if that helps.

Also if you have MS Word 2007 it's altogether different. I finally figured it out, but don't ask me how I did it cuz after working on it past mid-nite I'm drawing a blank.

Cool idea.  I just checked it out and played with it.  Came up with some other stuff.  Check it out.

Thanks for posting this!  Now I have something else to play with.

Let me know if you think the words are in the wrong place... I'm not good with that.

 Termite,

Well, I'll try. Got timed out so have to start all over again,

First off click "insert" tab at the top of the tool bar. Select the shape icon. In the top row select the "oval" shape. Left click & size it in your drawing window. Left click and hold to move the circle into the center of the page.

Make sure your circle is highlighted. Go to "Format" on the tool bar. Click on "Shape Outline, "Weight", & "More Lines". Type in 15 in the "Weight" box. Click OK.

Go to "Insert" on the top tool bar. Click on the lop-sided "A" with "Word Art" under it. select the same style as Steve shows in his video. Type in the word you want. You will automatically be put back in the "Format" tool bar. Select the "Position" icon and select the icon showing the middle of the page. Your text will be moved to approximately the middle of your circle. Shift the text around like you did the circle to get it in the middle.

Still in the "Format" area select "Change Shape" and then select the black oval shape.

With your text high-lighted it's just a question of pulling your text to fit the circle.

You make a smaller circle like you did the larger one to position on top of the larger circle for your hanger.

  That's it.

Pete
