Thank you! I used 1/4" Padauk, which is naturally orange/red. It has a really nice grain. Nice to work with also. Buit be careful of the dust. I wish I had a better picture of it.

Nice job Crusty!  I cut some Padauk about three months ago and I am still finding red dust  :)  It is a beautiful wood thou, especially when finished.

Great Job on that Firetruck!  I am with you on the dust from the Padauk.  There are alot of hardwoods that have the really fine dust....keep up the good work...I know that your brother in law enjoyed it very much and that he is proud of it...
