Here are a couple of my recent projects. The Bobcat was previewed before without the plaque.

How did you make these?  They are really beautiful.  Are they like segmentation or intarsia?  They look wood burned but they are more dimensional.  I can't tell.    I really like them. :)

These are segmentation. The pieces are cut and each one is stained to the desired color and them placed back together at different heights to give some deminsion to them.

It's so cool!  I love segmentation!  This is such a beautiful effect!  It really is wonderful.  Again - great job!

Very cool.  Once I finally learn the art of segmentation, I would like the wolf pattern.

Now if I could only find somewhere to try and sell them. I have been thinking about just setting up on the side of the road since there are not too many craft shows around here.

Try, Gift Shops. They sometimes will take local artists work on consignment. You tell them what you want and tyhey sell it at their retail price.

I have seen plenty of people set up along side of the road.  In fact a major road way would work best, as long as the city approves, I guess.  I don't know.  If there are no crafts shows, what about festivals?  Like a city thing?  I know West Plains has a Old Time Music festival once a year and they ask for vendors, which include crafters.  Just something to think about.  I do know with the economy the way it is, people are trying to decide what they can and cannot afford.  The area you are located also makes a huge difference.  Just my thoughts.

Very nice work. I have thought about trying some segmentation. The side view really helps to see how it was done. Thanks for sharing.  :D

Another idea; Some Flower Shops will take items on consignment that customers can buy and give as gifts along with the flowers.
