Hi Everybody , My name is Peter and i am from Largs in "Bonnie Scotland"
.
I started scrolling about a year ago after seeing some amazing stuff at a craft show, and as i would like to think of myself as a creative person i decided to give it a go, so i bought myself a cheap scroll saw and started making sawdust!
, although not to the highest standard i was quite impressed with the results and what i did not know i made up as i went along
.
Shortly after i bought a bigger but still cheap scrollsaw that still had pin ended blades , but people started noticing what i was doing and were offering words of encouragement
, so as i always seek to improve i bought myself a hegner scrollsaw off of ebay but i have to say i was a little dissapointed with it as it kept on breaking blades for some reason SO i really pushed the boat out and bought myself a new "Excaliber ex 21" only to be dissapointed again when the top connecting rod snapped just after a week
. you would think i would have given up by now but i am persistant and with the replacement now in place and having redesigned my work space i am ready to make more sawdust.
I joined this forum after watching some of steve's great videos and hope to share some ideas and photo's with you's once i know how to resize my photo's as they seem to be to big for the forum, Peter
