Hello

My name is Shmulik and I am beginner...
There is a technique that I don't understand and I'll be glad for some help.
I want to cut some piece of wood and then to bring it back to the place it was belong.
If my question is not clear which I am sure it's not  :) , I will try to give an example:
Lets say that you what to cut a cirucle from a  flat wood, then you want to put the circule in the same place that it was.
How do you start the cutting without doing a big cut in the beginning ?
Hope I was clear enough...

Thanks, Shmulik

You will need to drill a small entry hole.  This will also require a blade with no pins on the end or you will have to remove the pin insert the blade and then re-insert the pin if your saw requires pin end blades.

Junk is something you've kept for years and throw away three weeks before you need it.

Do I need a special scroll saw for that or just a special blade ?
Is there any video that I can see it ?

Thanks, Shmulik

Many scroll saws can use pin-less blades. What type do you have?
Also, not to confuse the issue more, are you wanting the circle to remain flat with the original board? If you are trying to make it recessed (or raised) you will need to drill and cut at an angle.
I think there might be a video, but I'll have to check at home.
Good Luck

Hey Schmulik, First let me say Welcome, I think this might be the video you are looking for. Unless your scroll saw table doesn't tilt, you should be able to make these cuts with any scroll saw.
