take a look at the version out by SR ware called "Iron".

Built on the Chrome engine but without all the GOOGLE Intrusive stuff!
Looks and runs just like Chrome.

Clean, Neat and fast! and FREE also!

Techie tested and approved for use by the masses by my 'linux' buddies.

Based in Germany so you might have to hit a 'translate' button but it reads in English at the link posted.

My son, the college senior, and IT worker there, agrees!
SR ware iron over chrome and no "spy" stuff.
