first taste of winter

i woke up this morning to about 3" of snow on the ground here in N. E. South Dakota. it has been so nice here all fall until yesterday when it started raining and the wind was blowing up to 60 mp. reality hits us again. at least maybe the ducks and geese will move down from the north and get a couple of days of hunting done this weekend. i always hate the first snow even though i knew it would come adventually.
hope everyone is warm and dry where your at.

You sure weren't alone with that 'weather'!
That 'clipper' or whatever they called it played hell with a lot of areas.
My son in Wisc. got part of his barn roof blown away.
Weird Weather this year I am afraid!

Kendall, we had our first snow about a week ago, now today it is 72 degrees and sunny. We sure have had weird weather this year, I hope this last storm isn't an indication of our winter ahead.
