Many years of experience Has proven to me ,Tools are designed to operate at a certain speed,just like your chart says,Varible speeds ,are set to the work intended ,by the tool chosen .When IT doesn'twork WELL  IT"S time to stop ,sharpen the tool if needed ,or locate the other problem ,BRUTE  FORCE  HAS NOW PLACE IN YOUR SHOP  ,the speed of the tool MUST control the the JOB ,other wise damage and failure ,and injury are certain ,BRUTE STRENGHT AN IGNORANCE Have No Place in your shop for VERY LONG.  IMHO

Thanks for the chart.Wish I had it years earlier.Made a copy to place next to drill press,my son and daughter-in-law use my shop.Hope this will help them in better use of the drill press.
