I found this site really cool.
http://vintageinternetpatents.com/It contains copies of the original patents for different items like cars, sporting goods, firearms...and of course tools & machines. You can order 10" x 13" prints from them or download the 8"x10" size in a pdf file. You get copies of the original drawing from the inventor(s) and the application to the US Patent Office. I got the "Scroll Sawing Machine" from 1885. Only cost $2.99...might frame it and hang it in the basement at my work bench.
