Hi Marcel, your friend did a great job on the trailer and the old P1 looks in beautiful condition. Opels here in the UK are called Vauxhauls, or General Motors,as I'm sure you know. Thanks for showing them.

I knew that  Roy, we had the vauxhaul as a brand in the 70's  also.

This particular P1 is the smaller German version of the Buick '55 '56 also GM.
I like these old cars, do you in Scotland have a lot of these as well?

Hi Marcell, I can't remember the last time I saw an OPEL here. There were some when the Vauxhaull Nova first came out but that's about it. The early ones were OPEL badged. Funnily enough I was in town a couple of days ago and I saw a 2011 Vauxhaull Insignia with OPEL mud flaps, looked a bit stupid. No doubt you will have the same model with a different name. I'm afraid I will stay with my elderly 4x4,handy piece of kit when the snow comes. Hope you and the family have a great holiday. All the best from Scotland.
