It's an Elk folks. They are smarter than deer. LOL

Got moose and deer in my freezer. Wife's making a moose roast for supper! Yum Yum!

@Gabby - Pretty sure that's a Red Stag, not an elk. Little bit diminutive for an elk! Bull elk average over 700lbs.

Should also point out that the elk is the largest member of the DEER family.

They do sell deer, elk and moose meat in some state. I believe alaska is one and I'm guessing some of the western state. I know we can buy buffalo here in Michigan.

Straight from the encyclopedia;

"The elk or wapiti (Cervus canadensis) is one of the largest species of deer in the world."

So he is still a deer. LOL
