General Scroll Saw Talk / poor spare parts back up for scroll saw
« on: June 12, 2013, 05:20:29 am »
I hope that you folk appreciate the service you get from Seyco and Ray because I have an excalabur 21 saw and this is my second experience with shoddy support . The first issue was resolved thanks to Ray's contact with General. I find a non essential part [thank goodness] has failed and after contacting the Australian supplier I was informed that no service till next week. If this had been an essential part I would have been up the creek with no paddle. Any other Aussies having issues with Carbatec?

If available try the Pegas modified geomentry #5 it is great on hard wood espically if used in conjunction with clear tape on the work

I have used both the Pegas and Mike's FD blades and both are good value. The Pegas is the best blade I have used for cutting hardwood and i use Mike's for finer work in my opionion the Pegas is a superior blade for most work,no offence Mike aka FD

Computer questions / coyote stencil shop problems

probabally made a huge mistake purchased Coyote stencil shop Ver3 and it keeps crashing just as I am about to print. My PC meets all the specs for the program but will not function emailed support so far no help at all. The program works fine on the laptop with XP but dosen't like windows 7 by the look even though the provider says it's compatable. Any suggestion would be appreciated.Being from Australia makes it more frustating attempting to get support.

some time ago I read where a scroller was twisting the end of his blades so that he was cutting from the side and could cut as long as he could handle hope this helps.makes lots of sense.
