Tutorials, Techniques and Tips / Air hose repair on a De Walt
« on: February 14, 2018, 11:40:23 pm »
The reticulated air hose cracked at the joint at the upper arm and isn't stable any longer on my DeWalt DW788 scroll saw. Precious little on Youtube on repairs other than forcing it and I've only got ten knuckles to skin. The joints are hard plastic and join the arm at a nipple. I was able to pull the cracked joint off the nipple and off the remainder of the hosing. Any suggestions on how to reconnect the hose at the next joint? Thank you.

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a pattern for the movie "Frozen" for my granddaughter. There doesn't seem to be one in Steve's catalogue. If anyone has one in their collection or can direct me to one I'd very much appreciate it. Thank you.

As I understand your response I can perform other tasks as well as reading such as Googling something, watching a Youtube video, accessing Stevegood.com in my shop, etc.? Thank you.

Greeting all. Question to the techies - the Kindle with 3G is $70 more than one without although in every other respect they're the same. Is having 3G worth the extra $70? Thank you!

Good morning all. I'm still a slave to my scroll saw but my new, part time hobby is re-purposing old bookshelves into dollhouses. I've just started and my first efforts have been somewhat less than stellar. I'd appreciate any referrals to web pages that might provide insights into making incidentals like window shutters, doors, chimneys, furniture, et al. Thanks to all. Cheers!

Wow, based on a couple of replies I feel I should be apologizing for a tradition celebrated in the spirit of trust and friendship. Wait one - apologizing is a Canadian thing too...

Hi Paul. We send the grandkids the Sears Christmas catalogue, and Sears "Toy Shop" Catalogue. After they've had time to peruse each, and mark them accordingly we go on Tango and we mark ours at this end. They know they're not getting everything they ask for but it's a generous selection. Cheers, and Merry Christmas!

Hi Dave. I ran Vista on the desktop and had nothing but issues with it. Converted to Windows 7 and haven't looked back. Cheers, Barry.
