I have not been around for almost 2 weeks so has you can imagine there are a lot of patterns ( 3 pages ) that have been posted in that time.  I have looked at them all but instead of replying to each and every one, I would simply like to Thank all of you for your great efforts, without you where we would be.  THANK YOU

I have wanted to do this pattern for such a long time and now I had a reason.  It is for my step granddaughter who is very arty and she will love this.  The pattern is by Deavolos and I cut it from 3mm Marine Ply with 2/0 Reverse Olson blades.  I enlarged it to and A3 size, 42 x 29.7cm

Well it done and delivered finally.  Thanks Don for the pattern.  I enlarged it to fit an A3 size frame which is 42 x 29.7cm.  It was cut from 3mm ply.

I did this for a friend of a friend about 5 years ago for the lady's two daughter and she always regretted not getting one for herself.  We met up again a couple of weeks ago and she asked if I still did the portraits and of course I said yes, so she asked if I would do one for her.  She was tickled pink when I told her I still had a copy of the pattern.  I made the pattern and it was cut on marine ply with 2/0 Reverse blade

This pattern by Phantom Scroller (Roly) was made from a drawing of a fellow that works with my husband.  It has exactly 200 cuts and it was a breath holder from beginning to end.  Hope you like it.

The Coffee Shop / Love My Bank
« on: August 07, 2014, 03:03:00 am »
Got an email from my bank today, the heading was CARD FRAUD.....VERIFICATION REQUIRED.  I was in two minds whether to open it or not with so many scams going around.  But boy I'm glad I did.  Someone had gotten hold of my credit card number and was using it.  I only ever use it to buy things on the Internet and it only as a limit of $1000 on it in case such a thing ever happened and it never leaves my home.  But they had made 3 transactions yesterday, $700, $600 and $495. The bank stopped all three because they did not match my history.  So I contacted them and now I have a new card being sent to me.  LOVE my bank.

Lovemaking Tips for Seniors
1. Wear your glasses. Make sure your partner is actually in the bed.
2. Set timer for 3 minutes, in case you doze off in the middle.
3. Set the mood with lighting. (Turn them ALL OFF!)
4. Make sure you put 111 on your speed dial before you begin.
5. Write partner's name on your hand in case you can't remember.
6. Keep the polygrip close by so your teeth don't end up under the bed.
7. Have oxygen ready in case you actually complete the act.
8. Make all the noise you want- the neighbours are all deaf too.
9. If it works, call everyone you know with the good news.
10. Don't even think about trying it twice.

I did this about 11 years ago and I was recently asked to do it again for a friends grandson, I finished it about 3 weeks ago but this is the first chance I have had to post the photo.  When he saw it his eyes almost popped out of his head.  I have no idea who the pattern maker is or where I got it from because I have had it sooooooooooo long.  All comments welcome.
