Hope you had a good one Marg, we have NZ day Monday the 6th but they call it Waitangi day and it is held on the day it falls

Pete, that was the year we arrived here, it took us 36 years to become and Australian Citizens don't know why because we would never go back to the UK to live.

There are flag raising ceremonies, Citizenship awards, B B Q's, fireworks.  Families getting together to have fun. Just like 4th July I guess.
