My fiance wanted a welcome sign so this is what I came up with. The welcome design is Steve's. I made a simple distressed frame and the backing paper is scrapbook paper.

Frame is great!
Background...a bit too busy for the subject matter IMHO...

I agree with GB, the cutting is great but the background seems to hide the work too much, but as you said, "she who must be obeyed" chose the background so a different background was not an option.

i'm also with GB on this one, good cutting but "she who's knows, knows best"
personally the background makes it hard to see the work you put into it.
