Good or bad news???

I was in my shop this morning about to scroll some more ornaments and my scroll saw won't turn on. It's a Hitachi CW-40 and I've been doing a lot of cutting with it lately. I can't even find a repair facility in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Maybe it's a sign that I need to upgrade. That's what I told the wifie.

It may be a "sign".

Tell Santa he needs to come early.
That is the identical saw (in a Craftsman uniform) that I had and the same thing happened.
Definitely a SIGN!!!!
Go For It!

Chris, It's defiantly a sign, but if you want to keep it for a while, check the switch. If is is easily removable. But before you do that check the fuse. If neither is the problem, then it is time to replace it.

Use it as a sign, but check the switch. My switch has gone out twice. I love my Hitachi, I would only upgrade to an Excalibur.

most times the switch - be careful with the power when you check that one out.
But YES! We strongly recommend a new saw. Think of the improvement on your work.

I agree, think it is about time for an upgrade. You won't regret it.
