More Cutting Board Projects
« on: March 30, 2011, 11:42:20 pm »
I made these two projects over the weekend. I found bamboo cutting boards that have a lighter band on the ends, they make neat projects. The board is just under 1/2" thick.
Thanks
Katie

Very nice work! I need to find me some of those boards. Are they hard to cut?

not hard at all, they cut really well.
I have found them at HomeGoods and TJ-Max stores. Walmart also has them but they aren't the "cute" ones.

Thanks for sharing. You are definetly a few levels above where I need to be.

You certainly have a creative eye. You look at objects in an artistic view by what they can be not the way that they are and that is true talent in every sense of the word.

Awesome job Katie, I kinda chuckled when I saw your pictures as I was at Dollarama yesterday and had bought 2 of the exact boards that you used. You have given me some good ideas for cutting them, thanks...

The bus and surfer pattern I found on that other forum (scroll saw village) The name on the pattern is "Creative Scrolling", the user name is Oges. We have a member with the same name and profile pic, so he might be lurking here as well.

Thanks for the comments!!
