Wood Facts A Series Tuesday

The world's largest forest is in northern Russia. It is located between 55 degrees North Latitude and the Arctic Circle {Siberia}. It is a coniferous forest. It covers a total area of 2.7 billion acres.

Just imagine the amount of football fields you can fit in there. I tried to work it out. A football field is at average1,32 acres so devide the forest by that and I get 2045454545. So it's mighty big!
