It says today IS one of my lucky days! I dont feel lucky today though. My allergies are acting up from the cookout last night, my neck hurts and this thing on my hand hurts. Remember that thing the doctor opened up to see if it was a splinter to get out? Well it ain't healing right... I gotta go to a surgeon.
OMG... I'm old... complaining about my ailments.

Yesterday was my lucky day and I was lucky.
I share birthdays with Carroll O'Connor and Victoria Jackson. One of the top songs was Purple People Eater by Sheb Wooley.
The most disturbing thing to find out is what my mom and dad where doing Saturday, 9 November 1957.

I was just a lad of 13 when "Purple People Eater" was on the "Hit Parade".
I can still rember most of the words.
My grand daughter was riding in the car with us a few weeks ago when that song came on the radio and I sang along with it! I thought she would croak from laughing so much!
