Shop Air quality
« on: March 25, 2018, 08:52:11 am »
read Steve's essay on the Wen Air Infiltration Cleaning system posted today. Very good info and an especially good topic for me. I have COPD so good air filtration in my shop is essential or I become  a sick puppy. I love my hobby and life would be really void if I could not work at it. I installed a King system a year ago. I use it much similar to Steve's method and need to clean the pre filter often. I also use a dust mask most of the time and try to use local sawdust collection on my larger power tools and sanders as often as possible. This winter was really cold; cold effected my breathing so a nice warm shop is a piece of heaven during our long winter months.

have a good day and happy scrolling

Thanks Norm for you comments. Yes, air filtration is a must for me. I don't have very much room, so I have to use vacs and masks and I do have an air purifier mounted above my saw.

I have a hanging Delta air cleaner that filters to 1 micron, plus a cloth dust mask and fans.  Never too much clean air.
