I use the contact paper in place of the blue painters tape.  I still print the pattern on cheap paper then spray adhesive it onto the contact paper.
I'm from North Dakota

Just my 2 pennies...I use the Removable Adhesive Paper from Sloan's Woodshop. http://www.sloanswoodshop.com/misc_.htm
Little more expensive than some others, but another option  :)

Well it looks like many of our members like the Adhesive Back Sheets for their patterns.
Like I mentioned already.  Blue tape and Spray glue (for me) are a thing of the Past. :+}

Danny - got some from Amazon - no tax, free 2-day shipping, $12.90 for 100 sheets. We can also print our own postage on these for shipping packages. I'll try it as soon as the weather breaks a bit. It's below zero F now, but going to 40 F this weekend.

As I said to a fellow at Sunday brunch, "Where is Al Gore when you really need him?" The guy replied, "He,s busy refining the internet."   :D :D :D :D :D

Ray....That is the Best way to go in my feelings.  Would say CHEAPER and what I bought last year off EBAY has been PERFECT every project.  And I guess I have used 3 dozen sheets so far.

Yep....  No more of that messy METHOD.

And YES....Cold here also.  Wind Chill -5 last night.  Wednesday is a HEAT WAVE.  Might get into the 40's.  LOL  Danny  :+}

I haven't tried any of this but have read about it. I may try it but the rolls I am not sure would always be cost effective. the width is perfect the length would give you about 20-22 regular size pieces of paper. for 19.95. I that comparable to purchasing 50 sheets. Not having bought or compared prices I didn't know

I use the A4 size self adhesive lables and stick them straight onto the bare wood after printing the pattern on them. To remove them I don't bother heating them, I just get a piece of paper kitchen towel and put come celulose thinners on it and give it a wipe, by the time you pit the paper towel down the lable can be lifted off in one piece. on occasion I get a little residue left which just wipes off with the kitchen towel used earlier.
just my preferred way of doing it.

I have used plan white contact paper, or peal and stick shelf paper .And use 3m contact spray on the face side . Then put your pattern on .Peal off the back side of the contact paper and put it on your wood to be cut .Good to go
