Howdy Larry from the Deep South.  Alabama.  You have arrived at the bestest Forum there is.  Bunches of friendly, happy people from all over the world.  I was a Navy brat and Dad got stationed on Oahu in 1957.  Of course the Local people didn't care much for us Haloes.  Left the islands for the Navy in 1963.  Haven't been back since.  Cry,cry.  Anyway Welcom

Hi Larry.  I've been to Kauai twice and thought it was the only place I've been that was even better than where I live in Florida.  We really enjoyed the scuba and motorcycling through Wiamea.  I even have a 4X4X24 piece of Koa sitting in my garage waiting to turn into a bandsaw box someday.  Mahalo!
