 ;) Mine clock is not yet complete, I made a test project with MDF and now I redo in beech. It will certainly be much more accurate than my essay. I also met the problem of timing gears, what I'm doing now, it's like when I was young and I had to adjust the gears looms. Just do not follow exactly the steps between the lines, but to follow the action on center after two gears with a contiguous piece of cardboard between the teeth, so leave a light day in between. Especially in the beginning, do not cut the gear along the plane stuck on the wood, because certainly the axis is not fair. What I do, I "turned" with a lathe the gear, before cutting his teeth, and then we can be sure that the axis is at the center of the spiral.  ;)
