Hey!
Now this one came out so nice - I need to show it:
really nice. By now I'm in love with the 9mm beech plywood (1/3"). The wood has a nice fine grain and cuts so beautiful. Simple to finish and hardly no sanding after cut.
I was so satisfied with the look, that I had peeled of the pattern before I noticed that I had forgotten to cut the outer rim. Well - next time I will.

Thanks. Yeah, the ply is really fine, you should check if you can get it somewhere.
I noticed a couple of new sorts of wood available in the hardware stores around here in Germany.
