triangle puzzle

Hey!

I needed some as a give away and cut some triangle puzzles. I made them 4" high, cut from 1/4" European Beech plywood. I made 8 of them and mixed the puzzle parts so the grain should not be a hint.
These are simple and fast to cut, nice little gift.



I also did cut a turtle puzzle animal. cut from 3/4" European Beech.


I will try to double this wood next time to have a 1.5" board and try to cut it with a FD-P#3 (worked fast and easy on the 3/4").

I like the idea of mixing the pieces so you can't use the grain. I have also painted front and back but that is a lot of work.

Dan, no, I did not stack cut them. I had a piece of that plywood and the pattern was on before I thought about that *lol*
I also then used a small blade to cut them. It's the first time I use beech plywood, my favorite home depot store has it now regularly in stock and the boards have really great quality. I think I'll use it more often now.

Our little girl Merle (nearly 3) forced me(!!) to make some more puzzles yesterday. She loves to puzzle.
