Great work Grandpa, I knew that you could do intarsia. It is different than fretwork as you have to think about depth and matching colors. I always get a great sence of accomplishment when I finish a piece. I hope you enjoy the same feeling. Thanks for sharing and I await your next creation. ;D

It's a portrait come to life! Your attention to detail is excellent as is your color choices. The frame is beautiful and just as professional as the Intarsia.

Showed this one to my wife. Love the design and the work is fantastic. Hope I can do half as good when I work my intarsia. Thanks for sharing.
