Intarsia Gift
« on: March 16, 2011, 08:02:49 pm »
A few years ago a friend, that was traveling to Japan, asked me to make an Intarsia that he could give, as a present, to a vendor he had to go see.  He said he wanted it small, simple, easy to carry and yet had some meaning to it.

This is what I came up with.   It was only about 14" wide.

It's a very appropriate gesture especially based on what is happening in Japan. They are sure going to need our help now and for many years to come. Your work is just as meaningful now as it was then. It's always a pleasure!
