Eiffel Tower

I am searching for a, I guess a 3D effect, stand alone eiffel tower pattern of approximately 10" tall. I really don't know how to explain what I need in specific terms?! It would simply be an eiffel tower model I guess. I live in Paris, Texas, and the city has an structure modeled after the eiffel tower next to the civic center. It has a cowboy hat on top. I have been asked to make a wooden replica of this tower and would place a small doll hat on the top. I have found portrait type patterns but cannot figure out how to make a it 4 sided. Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Wildwood Designs has a plan too but it is 36" tall.  My guess is you'd have to sacrifice a lot of detail to get it down to 10" but one of these plans might at least give you an idea of how to put it together.

Maybe the person who wants it would be willing to foot the bill for the pattern to help you figure it out.  $22.

You could do this as a compound cut but might have to drop the size so the base is no wider than your clamp clearance.

Can you take a picture of one side of the tower, make it a svg pattern using Inkscape, and rather than cut away the iron, cut away the airspace. Stack it 4 thick, then you'll have 4 identical sides to glue together.

If you send a photo of your Texas structure, I'll take a shot at the compound and the stacked pattern for you.

I found a photo of the Paris, Tx tower. It has 3 vertical sections so you could cut 3 flat pieces of 1/8 BB Ply to make each side. If you're willing to do the cutting and assembly, I'm willing to make the pattern. Let me know what you want to do.

I have the basics of the pattern ready - see below - but it needs some instructions for assembly. Note the pattern sections are flat for cutting, but the sections sit an an angle when assembled. I built a paper version from the pattern and it looks reasonable and is just about 10" tall.

Note that when printed this should measure 10 5/8" top to bottom. When the sections are angled it will drop to 10".

I believe it will work EIEIO. I just need to decide what to cut out and what to leave. I am not going to cut every single brace, but, will do a little trial and error using just one piece of wood.  Thanks for your time and effort. I have Gimp and Inkscape downloaded on my computer, but, just cannot seem to master them yet.

Change in directions - to leave more space around the side cutout to allow bevel at the top edge without hitting the pattern line.

Anyone interested, I have a document on doing the bevel calculations. I can email it to those who ask.
