Had the same problem, sent it back and the one they exchanged has the exact same problem, I find I cut a lot less now   >:(

Type 3  I thought that they came out with a type 4 dewalt scroll saw.  So what are the problems you heard that is wrong with the type 3 dewalt scroll saw.  I wish I would of got a type 1 dewalt scroll saw.

Don't know type, I got it new for Christmas '12, it wobbles so much from front to back it jumps out of tight cuts, very frustrating. Got it to replace my old Dremel which has a bit of the same problem.  Now when I cut I'm very careful, slow and as said earlier...frustrated.

Here in Wi I'm thinking of turning up the thermostat to about 85, bring the lawn chairs in the house, putting on my swim suit and mixing up a few Marquitas .  I'm getting real tired of this, it's only been above 30 degrees twice and below 0 more than it's been above in about 2 months.

Parents such as these exist everywhere, every country, and we still send some of our fine young folks to "rescue" them from themselves.

I too offer a salute to the emergency squads out there.  Stay safe.

And if it's anything like here those people would be complaining that there should have been barricades up and if anyone was hurt the first to try and sue!!

I was down there for Christmas and couldn't believe the 4 degree temp., we put a bottle of wine outside to cool and the cork blew out!  Not as bad as here on the "upper" Mississippi but colder than I expected.  I hear you can pick up some really cheap tickets to the Packer game this weekend, supposed to be one of the coldest games in history.  Think I'll watch from my living room.   ;)

I put a small fan blowing across my table and a box fan and filter on the other gets about 90% of the dust it seems to me just used it for the first time today for any length of time about 2 hours and am happy with it might add another fan vertically as I found a small amount of dust on top of the box fan very minimal but a little

This is what I have used for a couple years now, it still gets dusty but the home made filter/fan set up I use works pretty well, I vacuum the filter every week or so.
