Have not cut on the pegas have cut on Seyco don’t know that there is a lot of difference but I do know Seyco has the best parts and service if you need it.

I don’t use switch on lamp my light and saw are plugged into a strip when there is power to the saw light is on rocket switches just don’t get along with sawdust

A good used dewalt 788 or 40-694 delta is probably your next step up watch Craigslist or check for specials on Amazon

I have that saw and I always use the straight up and down position you can’t be aggressive cutting puzzles  if your cutting 3/4 wood I would use a #5ur good luck

Use the peel ang stick from walmart a lot cheaper than blue tape and you don’t have to use packing tApe
