Thanks for the reply. I'll check both sources out. I just read about wookworkers going out of business, sad.

Any suggestions for suppliers of wood for intarsia? I usually order from Ocooch but they don't carry certain types.

Thanks, I have a PC but between corel draw and corel are there must be a way. It's probably a matter of trial and error but it's driving me nuts. I will look for easy draw because easy is starting to sound good. Thanks again

Actually I am fairly new at this too. There are some very good scrollers that could probably help you better than me. I just googled intarsia patterns and ran across this one and bought it from a guy in Austrailia. All I can advise is research and practice.

Great job, I am trying to figure out how to take a picture and make and intarsia pattern out of it. I am using corel draw and just  haven't figured out how to segment the pieces.

Thanks, I'm in Mississippi and in 20 yrs there might be a source here, lol. There is one place around Jackson but they only deal with 1" wood and still dont have a large selection. Maybe i should open one.

I have been purchasing wood from Ocooch hardwoods but there are certain woods not available such as alder, mahogany or  WRC. Any suggestions for wood sources?

This is the first time I've tried ebonizing wood and I like it. I was going to raffle it off at a poker run but decided i like it on my wall. My wife thought it would look good on the garage wall............Ha
