I remember seeing a topic that Steve had posted a good while back using the Searon Digital Inductive Engine Hour Meter from Amazon. I was thinking about getting one in helping me price the work that I do for people. If anyone has a link to the blog where Steve had posted it or have made one themselves, please let me know. I was going to ask Steve about it, but I am sure he is a busy man. Curious how I would wire it to my foot switch too. Thanks in advance!

General Scroll Saw Talk / Need help on pricing!

I really enjoy the hobby and like most others, probably, I get asked to make all kinds of things scroll sawy. The hardest thing for me to do is price my work. I always feel that I am either underpricing it or overpricing it. People say I am way underpricing most of my stuff. (Makes me wonder if they are just being nice...lol) Just curious what is a good rate to go by. I seen the timer that Steve put on here that keeps track of the hours/minutes that you have invested in the piece and I am fixing to invest in building me one. Just looking for some general input.... Thanks in advance!

General Scroll Saw Talk / What glue to use now???

I recently use, and have been ever since I have been into scroll sawing, the Duro spray adhesive. I love it and it does a great job of adhering to the wood and leaving no residue when I have to put it straight on the wood. I cannot find it anywhere for sale now and am going to have to change to another product. What is another one out there that does a great job? Thanks in advance!

I am interested in getting a Wood CNC machine. It would really open up a new window of interest and opportunity for me. I have seen an ad where you can send them money and they will send you instructions on how to build one, then there are places that just sell them. Is there anyone out there that is using one? Any input would be appreciated about them or how/where to get one and name brand. Thanks!
