I seen these words on a wall plaque in Target store last week, and tried my hand at turning it into this pattern.Pattern could use a bit of fine tuning but I think it came out fair. Also wider than I had planned.

Hi folks....I have been trying to make a pattern from this photo and keep getting nowhere.the person in photo is no longer with us and apparently this is about the only picture of him available. It is picture from an obituary card. When I tried it,I made him clean shaven, but his sister says he has a beard.I thought it was just a couple of days growth.Anyway,I would appreciate it greatly and will post the cut if someone can  do something with it..Thanks  Gordie

Just finished the two Halloween luminaries in last issue of scrollsaw woodworking and crafts.Made a couple of changes,I used 1/4 inch birch instead of 1/8 th.Made the stand different and the backer I used poly binders I picked up at staples store.Only problem with poly is if you use a hot light or candle too close, the poly could melt.I find that they are transparent enough  for just regular room lighting.
