Hello,
A number of years ago there was a free program that let you put the shortcut on your desktop and then you could drag and drop a document ontop of the icon on your desktop and it would automatically convert to pdf. Does anyone remember the name of the program? My computer crashed and I lost it. I think I found it within Steves blog.
Thx in advance!

I use PrimoPDF. http://www.primopdf.com/ (http://www.primopdf.com/)
I just use free version. When I was working I used the NITRO version as we used to modify PDFs but no longer required.
It has a drop box that lets you direct the print file to a print drivers that creates a PDF. I don't use the drop box but it works okay.
You can use it from any program that has a print function.
When I have a large PDF and want only certain pages you can print those pages to the PDF print driver.

I use CutePDF http://cutepdf.com/ which installs in the computer. It becomes a system printer so that when you click on print in a program, CutePDF is an option. It great works on any Windows program I have used.
The site also has a free PDF editor - on-line, I think.
