Title: Welsh Dragon
Post by: Claymore on November 20, 2016, 11:40:14 am
Hi,
Here's my latest project, its a 18" Welsh Dragon Segmentation (not Intarsia as its all made from one large piece of 45mm Beech) Its for a company who make Beech handles for tools etc and will be going on their stand at a trade fair soon.
They sent me a tiny pewter one to copy and hopefully they will like my version of it.
It was also the first full project make on my new Axminster EX30 saw and the saw coped very well and all with one blade (number 3 skip Pegas)
Next on my list is a Large Stag/another Hare and a custom Sheltie portrait ordered by an American lady so plenty to keep me out of trouble.
Cheers
Brian
ps as usual I have taken the photo before waxing to reduce reflections and it looks much better once waxed which brings out the colour/grain
