Title: Update on my Craftsman
Post by: arkiewood on November 25, 2014, 09:59:51 pm
I posted a couple days ago about my Craftsman breaking down. I can get the parts from ereplacement parts but not in time to get my presents done.
I had my heart set on the EX 21 in the future but I found a Hawk 220 about 50 miles from me. It is on a stand with a light for $400. I have read a lot of good reviews on this saw. If anyone has any advice or suggestions I would appreciate it. I plan to go look at it Monday.

Thank all of you for your replies and input.

I really don't think you would be disappointed in the Hawk.  It is a great saw according to everything I have read.

The Hawk is a gigantic step up from the Craftsman.  It's hard to pass up a good deal.  Go for it.

I made the jump from a Ryobi to a Hawk. After some growing pains I love it.

Every thing is a gigantic step up from the Craftsman, even a coping saw.  I got tired of fighting mine and gave it to my cousin and he hasn't spoke to me since.  Which may not be a bad thing.
