Title: An Old One New Again.
Post by: wombatie on August 28, 2014, 01:57:45 am
I did this for a friend of a friend about 5 years ago for the lady's two daughter and she always regretted not getting one for herself.  We met up again a couple of weeks ago and she asked if I still did the portraits and of course I said yes, so she asked if I would do one for her.  She was tickled pink when I told her I still had a copy of the pattern.  I made the pattern and it was cut on marine ply with 2/0 Reverse blade

Ray marine ply is made waterproof with waterproof glues and sometimes treatment to the wood used.  They use it in making boats and other outdoors things a lot of time. ( I live near a marina that has a boat shop ).
