I found a great buy on Bloodwood at my local Woodcraft store. The box is 7 inches wide, 9 inches long and 1 inch deep. Bloodwood is dense, hard on scroll saw blades but takes glue and finishes well. I used teak oil finish on this on then flocked the inside with a Kelly Green flocking. The lid has a liner of 1/4 inch thick cedar.
