Made this puzzle box from a piece of wood I call Tiger Maple because of the stripes. Sealed with tung oil and then I used the homemade beeswax paste.

Marge no it came out of the summer issue of the Scrollsaw Woodworking and Crafts Magazine, well the idea for it did. It is not the same size as the one in the magazine.

Very pretty! I usually call it ambrosia maple. Actual tiger maple has a curly grain that gives the wood a 3d effect. Sorry for the wood lecture but I thought it might be some good useless information for the day... ;D
