I was wondering if anyone knew of of another Scroll Saw besides the Dewalt that can top feed the blades when doing inside cuts as well as bottom feed. I am looking to upgrade my Old Dremmel in the future and comparing options.
Thanks In Advance. . .

Hey Jim, The Excalibur saws all have lifting top arms which allow you to top feed. They include the EX16, The EX21 and the EX30.

My EX-21 does.

Although I do not own one, I believe the Delta will also allow that operation. Same as the DeWalt.

Tho I too would like to upgrade from my Dremel. I top feed all the time with it...no problem. Am I missing something?

Since I am new.... I may have used the wrong termonology..... Basically, I am looking for a unit that can feed the blade thru the top of the work as opposed to detaching the blade from the top holder and feeding it through the bottom of the wood and reattaching the top holder.

No, you're using the right terminology. All of the above mentioned saws do exactly that. You disengage the bottom blade clamp, lift the arm and blade out of the project, then feed the blade down through the next hole and reattach the bottom clamp. BTW, they all also allow bottom feeding if you should ever prefer.

Yup, the Delta 40-690 (Twin brother of the Dewalt) does! I'm guessing the new 40-695 probably does as well.

It's crazy but I still bottom feed with my EX21. Got alot more room lifting the top arm up, but I just cant get used to top feeding. I like to see my blade is set back square, and had to do top feeding for me.
