I was walking to the grocery store with my son when I ran into some casual friends. In talking to them my making my own shirts came up in the conversation. I was wearing one of my kayakers on the front and blue heron on the back of the shirt. She asked me if I could come up with a shirt design for the profits to go to help the children of the Congo. So this afternoon I took a tree of life pattern and put the silhouette of Africa in the middle and then highlight cut a heart in the location of the Congo. There is always a reason for the season and everything went well. As I was being asked I was looking down at this beautiful Jamacian girl that she adopted that was giving me the gift of a smile. That made it a given.
