Bit of a dumb question but I've noticed when I make a post that in the upper right corner it says, Quote, Modify, Remove. When others make a post all that is there is Quote. What am I doing wrong?
-
I don't think you are doing anything wrong. When you post something, your post allows you to remove, modify or quote your own post. Nobody else can remove or modify it (except, perhaps, the moderators). Hope that answers your question.
-
I don't know why you would want to quote yourself, but if you find a mistake or you want to change something in your post, Hit the modify button. It will allow you to modify your post. The remove button allows you to remove your post.

well duh. Thanks guys....told you it was a dumb question but now I get it! :)

There is no such thing as a dumb question.

I beg to differ! In this case, absolutely not, but, several years ago, when I first started with the USPS, I was working at the customer service window. Two young ladies walked in, and one of them came to the window and asked, "How much are your 41 cent stamps?". I paused briefly, then responded with, "Those are $1.79 a piece!" A couple seconds later I could see the light come on in her eyes when she realized she really had asked a "dumb" question. It was quite funny!

In an emergency would you know the number for 911?
