talk about withdrawals --I got that message when I tried to log on and thought --"what did I say now" glad we're back on--Richard aka thumbs ;D ;D ;D ;D

Don't breathe to big of a sigh of relief. The forum is under attack by hackers. Steve is trying to save it. The forum might be down again before it is all over. >:(

I thought I had got it wrong again and was blocked - phew - not guilty this time.

Folks...this is serious!
Hackers attack and someone like Steve has to fend them off all alone. I got the denial message early this morning and alerted Russ and Steve.
Those BAS#$%&* are out there and their 'delight' is causing trouble for good honest folks.
PLEASE bear with Steve as he deals with this attack.
Remember he is doing this for us out of the goodness in his heart.

GB, I fully back your post, it's just an idea, but there are over 2000 members here in the forum, I know for most money is tight, but what if everyone sent Steve a $1 through paypal just as a way of saying thank you to Steve for all he does (and is doing) to keep this site going. then the total would be a tidy sum, and wouldn't hurt peoples pockets too much.
Your thoughts on this please everyone???

Not trying to burst your bubble there Keefie but out of that "2000" there is less than "100" that I would consider really active, on the forum daily or even weekly. I realize that some of those are new and they haven't been here to long. I am also sure that any and all donations to Steve Good would be very well appreciated. It is donations,(and he also spends some of his money keeping things going) Steve's time and commitment to the art of scroll sawing that keeps things going. Maybe the top 100 donate $5. That wouldn't hurt the pockets to much either. :)
Sometimes a big THANK YOU also helps.

I try and make a modest donation a couple of times per year. This was just one of those times. I couldn't afford to pay an amount commensurate with what I have received from Steve and his sites.
