Thanks Sheila,it means a lot to me that you commented . I Think a project can only end up as good as the original pattern was, and i say Grandpa is one of the BEST!!!.

Hi,dgman I cut the pattern from 5mm spuce ply (never again  :o) its so soft . but its very hard in my part of the country ( Germany) to get good oly or even wood ,next time i will try veneering my plywith maybe lacewood.
