Hi, my name is Al and originally from PA. I joined the forum in January and I must say you are a very talented and friendly group. My better half and I have been fulltime traveling in our RV for the past nine years and are ready to settle back down. Been looking hard at TN as a place to settle. Winchester, Manchester area. I scroll sawed for ten years before we started this adventure and I am anxious to smell the saw dust again. All my workshop tools are stored at our son?s house including the DW788. They are all in dry storage and being well taken care of so they should be fine. I?m the one that is going to be a little rusty. Been a long time. I have learned an awful lot since I have been reading the forum and I thank you all for sharing your vast knowledge and experience. A special thanks to Steve Good for hosting this great forum.
Happy scrolling
Al

Welcome. Doesn't matter if rusty or not, time is not always the relevant part when it comes to a nice finished project.

Yes there are a lot of stories both good and bad but all in all it has been fun and a great adventure for both of us. We won?t be ready to settle down for another year so we will have spent 10 years on the road by then. Not giving it up completely though. We still plan to travel around a couple months a year. I tried to carry my hobby with me but it just didn?t work out. Not enough storage space in the 5th wheel for all that was needed. Good luck on your plans. I?m sure you will be able to make it work out and enjoy it as much as we do. Al
