Title: Pen For Signing Work
Post by: bhenr99 on February 05, 2012, 02:05:35 pm
I used to have a pen to sign work and lost it someplace. I don't remember what brand it was. It was great because it didn't bleed when you put finish over it. Do any of you have a pen suggestion . Thanks for any help.

I use a Sharpie Fine Point, seems to work fine.

Ditto Sharpie fine point.
It will bleed through paper, but works well on wood
The one I use says Ultra fine point, and Permanent!
Great for marking in small areas.

You don't want to put lacquer over Sharpie ink, it WILL bleed.  I use a sharpie as well, but wait until all finish is applied and completely dry before I sign it.

I use the following:

Sign and finish immediately.

I've been using ''Deco Color Liquid Gold'  extra find, opaque paint marker.  Works on finished and unfinished projects.  Shows up good on wood.  Looks great. Purchased at AC Moore.
