Title: True Story
Post by: wombatie on February 02, 2012, 12:48:55 am
A Mr Grenda sold his bus company that he started about 50 years ago and decided to give his workers a bonus so he shared $15million between them.  Depending on the length of time they had been there it went from $30,000 down to $850 to the guy that had been with him for just 3 months.  My daughter know this family personally because her boy friend goes on weekend jaunts with his sons and they also play gold together. A few years ago my daughters footy team were to play in the grand final and she could not afford to go so he sent her 2 free tickets.  What a fantastic guy he is, I would say the best.

Sure does sound like he is Marg, and no government mug forced him either.
Good on him!

It is nice to see someone willing to take care of those that worked hard for them and one that has a sense of community as well. People like this are rare indeed. The world would be better off with a few more like this.

Hi Marg We've had this about the gentleman on radio and TV here in Scotland. It is nice when a business man realises that without his workers he would have no business. Hope some of the big money grabbers are paying attention.
Best wishes Marge.
