Title: The Sacrifice
Post by: Dakota Saw Dust on January 20, 2012, 06:37:50 pm: This project has been done for awhile now but the first "good" snow here in Sioux
Falls, South Dakota has kept me indoors so I'm brag-en. I consider this my 1st creation although I got the inspiration from an art piece depicting the execution of 16 Discalced Carmelite Nuns July 17, 1794. [See if you can count the Sisters on the Cross posted in the Gallery] I made this for one of my wife's and my good friend, Sister Mary Agnes of the Monastery in Alexandria, SD, for her silver jubilee.
