Title: Here it is, my FIRST project with my new Delta 40-690

 ;) I have been puttzing with my Harbor F. scroll saw for a couple of months, then I found this GREAT web site and Steve's post about a local Woodcraft with a great deal on a great saw.. Took the plunge and here is my first project, cut from 3/4" pine and topped off with Danish oil top/back and outside edges. (http://)

Fine job Melster.  I think it is always a pleasure to work with quality tools.  They make you enjoy the time you spend cutting.  And when you enjoy something you stay with it more and your work gets better and better.  Thank you for sharing your latest project.

Nice looking project... You can work with anything, but a quality machine sure adds to the pleasure of a great hobby.
